1. Bookings and Payments
Payments for any Dance Services must be made at, or in advanced of the first teaching session. Payments for Courses, which typically last twelve weeks, must be made in full prior to the first lesson.
2. Private lessons
St Albans School of Dance requires a minimum of 48 hours' notice in order to cancel or transfer a private lesson. 50% of the fee is payable with notice given between 24 and 48 hours prior to the lesson. With less than 24 hours' notice, the full fee is payable. Arriving late for a scheduled private lesson will result in reducing your session in accordance with that time.
3. Variations to Bookings
Clients should be aware that they are considered as committed once they have made a Booking for a particular Course, which will take place on specific pre-determined dates. In order to operate the given Course effectively, St Albans School of Dance relies on the commitment of its Clients to uphold their part of the agreement according to these Terms and Conditions. In the unlikely circumstance that St Albans School of Dance is unable to provide Dance Services on (a) specific date(s) for whatever reason, (an) alternative session(s) will be offered.
4. Client cancellations and missed classes or courses
Once Booked all Dance Services are non-refundable. This does not affect your statutory rights.
5. Missed group classes or courses
St Albans School of Dance is under no obligation to offer alternative or replacement sessions if a Client misses any lessons. If St Albans School of Dance is able to offer an alternative session and the Client chooses not to accept the alternative that is offered, the Client is NOT entitled to a refund. If the Client is aware that they will miss any sessions in advance of the start of a Course, St Albans School of Dance requests that the Client notify St Albans School of Dance at the time of Booking and St Albans School of Dance will endeavour to provide an alternative session. Unused prepaid group lessons, purchased as part of a Course, may at St Albans School of Dance's discretion be used on other available classes, but are not transferable to another person, and can only be used in the same term in which they were bought for. Unused prepaid group lessons cannot run over to a new term.
6. Gift vouchers
Gift vouchers for Dance Services are valid for a period of 6 months from the date of purchase.
7. Injury waiver
By agreeing to these terms and conditions the Client hereby waives, releases and discourages all claims they may have against St Albans School of Dance for injuries of any manner from participation in the Dance Services. The Client is advised to seek medical advice before carrying out any exercise.

We are committed to safeguarding your privacy. Please read our Privacy Policy page for an explanation of how we collect and use personal information. By accepting the Terms and Conditions, you also allow us to use your data in the ways outlined in the Privacy Policy.
Defined terms
Dance Services: Any dance tuition provided by St Albans School of Dance.
Client: An individual who purchases and/or attends Dance Services.
St Albans School of Dance: The trading name for Natalia Richardson.
Course: A dance programme taught in a group, consisting of more than one dance class.
